(Page 1)2. Eric,
I saw in one of your videos that you picked up some plywood at Rudy's Hardware. Is this on Ventura Bl. in Woodland Hills, CA? If so, I used to ride my bike there when I was a kid in the 60's & 70's. It's great to know that a small family hardware store has survived the onslaught of the big box home centers. They had the kind of personal help you can no longer get in those big places.
Thanks for you helpful programs.

3. Eric,
I realize you only have a short time frame to describe how things are done, and while you are often very astute and helpful, your info is also often outdated and B.S.
My family has been in this biz since 1904 and myself for over 40 years. You should consult with me once in awhile, it would make you look a LOT better!

4. I think you should stop teaching electrical work, I.E. hanging a fixture. You did not show how you wire the ground. Plus if you screw the rod into the CROSSBAR as you did, odds are your teaching your audience how to DEAD SHORT a fixture and possibly having the cable repulled costing far more money than they would have spent on a electrician to install the fixture properly. Thank you.

Bathroom Problem, Textured Paint...
I've pulled the wallpaper off, well most off. Put oil based primer, sanded a little, I wanted to use a Textured paint w/grey color mixed in. Ive read and read for ideas.BUT,the paint is like thick pudding, I've tryed putting it on the walls, but it's not looking good at all. Now, I've got knots in my stomach, and afraid to buy another product or do anything. My husband keeps asking me how is coming, well it's not. I'm stuck. Hope you have an idea !!! So screwed KD

8. Hi
Love your show, just saw your information on AOL about mailboxes. Don't forget a lot of communities require mailbox/house numbers. See our site, numbersandletters.com, for our exclusive, thick, pressure sensitive reflective numbers that adhere to plastic mailboxes, brick, even stucco.

11. Hi Eric!
As the master, can you write a short simple "how to" level a floor? I have an old 1855 house that settled and one end of my kitchen is 3" lower than the other. I hear that placing plywood and some type of mortar product can be placed over the existing linoleum floor. Is this true? And if so, what tools and products should I purchase? I'm on a very tight budget and this will be a do-it-yourself project with help from a handyman.
Thank you sooooo much for your time and expertise!

12. Randy again, Also, The wax @ the floor level loosens, or just flattens. Apartment Maintance, is unawhere, till the floor becomes warped, from leaks. If I stay long, I'm affraid one will catch on. And don't answer, that we need to loose weight. Were trying life long. (-Buzzin Heart-)

14. Have you ever heard of PPE (personel protective equipment) OSHA could site you on every show I have seen. I it good that you are trying to teach, but teach safety also. Your demographic can not watch if they lose their site.

17. Eric: Your native plant planting and mulching lesson was good, but you should've mentioned that all those potted nursery-bought plants are root-bound. Before people put them in the hole, they should use a trowel, or machete, or whatever's at hand to slice through those tangled roots, even remove a piece o' pie shaped wedge from the root ball that will encourage root growth. They can cut off the bottom part entirely. Liberate those guys, and let 'em rock! Very important!

18. I was lucky enough to see Eric at the KBIS Show in Chicago this past Saturday. I always knew he was handsome but seriously you all, this man is drop dead beautiful. I was left stumbling for words. So thanks for the hug, Eric. You most definitely made my day! For the record, Brad Pitt has nothing on you.

20. I've been a single Mom for over 20 years and always had to call some repairman for anything through the years. Well, times are tough now and I just viewed the "running toilet" repair with Eric. This is something I can do and not have to pay some plumber over $100 for the service call. I think Eric just gained a new fan today. Thanks.
