My Daughter's First Steps
Reader Comments
(Page 1)2. What a wonderful moment in being a parent.
I too witnessed my daughters first steps.
I hate to admit this, but I had to bribe her with
a drink of soda pop to get her to toddle to me.
This is still her favorite today.
By the way, she is now 26 years old and will be married 9/8/07. And it seems like yesterday...........

3. Eric, thanks for making my last painting job soooo much easier. I did it without the "painter's tape" and saved lots of time. I seemed so smart! Now, don't give your baby the car keys just yet....Enjoy Daddy's Little Girl. My baby girl is a 21 year old 6-foot cutie pie!

4. WOW!!! But just wait until you see your grandbaby take their first steps, talk about coming full circle knowing you raised your child and now they are experiencing the same joys as a parent. It is as emotional as when your baby took their fist steps.
ENJOY FATHERHOOD, and remember your daughter will always be daddy's little girl.

5. Ahhhhhhhh! So cool about your daughter. And yes, girls are so much easier as babies than boys; however as teens they will rip your heart out.
Eric, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your how-to videos. I now feel confident enough to tackle all those diy projects that I've never had the guts - or know-how - to take do.
Thanks for unleashing the DIY WARRIOR PRINCESS within! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

7. Eric - blast from the past time. What is it about old guys like us having babies? Must have been something in the water on Michigan Ave. in Evanston. Mine are 2 and 5. Here's to the late bloomers club. Congratulations on all your success - Jevne Meader

10. Eric love you talking about ur baby girl and they need so much from Dad as boys need lots from Mom. From 10 yrs up, things can go crazy, just stay close and let her know she is #3 love of your life behind wife, #2 and she'll be ok. I know you will, always liked u, saw you with a family in La. and will never forget your tears, gentleness. Remember too, Jesus #1 in life. love in Him, bjc, Fla. ps don't work too much!!

About Me
1. Congrats on your daughter's first steps.. don't get too carried away on her future accomplishments yet! Enjoy the stage she is in first! LOL They are not all enjoyable. Next is the language explosion as you'll probably remember. That is by far the nest in my opinion. I just wanted to contact you in ome way, as my mother's maiden name is Streamer, originally from Von Stroemer. She always wonders if you are related in some way. :)
